Ashley Potter is the proud parent of Pax in the Pre-K classroom.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ashley moved to Portland to attend Reed College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in economics. She now lives in Eugene with her husband, Troy, where they own and operate The Bier Stein Bottleshop & Pub. As a family, they enjoy exploring Oregon and being involved in Eugene’s many community gatherings and offerings. She also loves to watercolor, craft, organize, and redecorate.

Since 2007, Ashley has served as the programs manager for The Ford Family Foundation where she oversees policy development, implementation and adherence as it relates to the scholarship programs, application, operations and student supports. She administers several scholarship databases; analyzes and reports data for strategic decision making; serves as a liaison with students, financial aid administrators and partner agencies; and monitors changes in institutional, state, and national financial aid policy.

Ashley also serves on the Advisory Board for Eugene Public Library Foundation’s Imagination Library program. She is a huge advocate for both financial and child literacy!
